John Evans, Chair, Fairlake (and Gwent Homes). John retired from his post as deputy chief executive at Torfaen County Borough Council in 1999. His previous posts have been with Pontypool Urban District Council, Devizes Rural Council and Bedwellty Urban District Council. John has also been Chair of Torfaen Voluntary Alliance, Chair of Torfaen Health and Wellbeing Partnership and a member of a Community First Partnership. John is also a board member of the Seren Group.
Mark Williams, Vice Chair Fairlake (and Gwent Homes) is an experienced Business Manager and Senior Programme Manager. He has extensive Business Change and IT Solutions Change knowledge particularly within the Financial Services and Public Sector marketplaces. Currently Deputy Head of Change for L&G in Cardiff, he has held a number of Exec and Non Exec positions at both small and large organisations throughout a 25+ year career. Mark holds a BA (Hons) degree in Accountancy & Finance.
Andrew Garvey is the Business Development Manager – Wales for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Before moving into Marketing/Business Development he practiced for 6 years as a Commercial Solicitor and remains a qualified Solicitor, although he does not practice.
Chris Jofeh Chris is a Structural Engineer and joined Arup’s Cardiff Bay office in 1991, after 3 years in Los Angeles. He leads Arup’s Existing Buildings Consultancy in Europe and is chair of Wales’s Low/Zero Carbon Hub.
Adrianne Jones CBE, is a retired Director of Social Services. She is currently a school governor and a trustee of several charities in the social care field. She worked for over 30 years in Social Services in various local authorities in Wales and England and was Director of Social Services for 17 of those years. After that Adrianne spent 10 years as a social service consultant and undertook work for the Department of Health, Welsh Assembly Government, voluntary organisations and local authorities.
Stewart Murton, is a retired Regional Director, Valuation Office Agency. He trained and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and joined the Valuation Office in Newport in 1970. Stewart previously worked in private practice, local authority and the Old Cwmbran Development Corporation. He moved from Head Office to Cardiff in 1987 to take over as Director Wales. Years later the West of England was added to his responsibilities. Stewart is also a Board Member of Seren Group and Chair of the Group’s Corporate Governance Committee.
Michael Wiseman is a former Managing Director of a medium sized company in London. He has a BSc Hons.(Geo Sciences), BSc (Open) Dip. Earth Sciences. Dip. Computing. He voluntarily consults with NGOs on energy and environmental problems, subjects on which he currently lectures extensively. He is also a member of the newly formed Tenant Advisory Panel (TAP) which works alongside the Regulatory Board for Wales.
